Who We Design For
Family Journeys
Itineraries paced for children, with childcare support — and for three generations travelling together, a full villa rather than several separate hotel rooms.

A Villa, Not a Block of Hotel Rooms
When grandparents, parents and grandchildren travel together, a house with a pool, a proper kitchen and enough bedrooms for everyone usually works better than splitting the group across separate hotel rooms — everyone ends up in the same place for breakfast rather than coordinating three room keys. It also solves the real problem most multi-generational trips run into: grandparents want a slower morning, a toddler needs a nap by early afternoon, and a teenager wants to sleep in — a villa lets each generation keep its own rhythm under one roof instead of forcing everyone onto a single hotel schedule. Château de Neydens near Geneva sleeps up to 19 across three floors with its own House Manager and concierge team; the Grand Villa in Mies, on the lake side of Geneva, is built for the same kind of stay.

Days Built Around a Child's Actual Attention Span
Museum sketching sessions arranged privately rather than tagging onto a public tour, alongside hands-on workshops — pottery, jewellery-making, patisserie and similar — with artisans and instructors chosen for that trip and matched to a child's level, not a fixed one-size-fits-all itinerary. A typical day runs one focused activity in the morning, while attention is still fresh, then a longer, looser block in the afternoon — a park, a pool, unstructured time — rather than a second scheduled stop back to back with the first; older siblings can be given a bit more to do while a younger child naps, instead of the whole group moving at the pace of the slowest member.
Family Journeys
What This Includes
- One advisor plans the trip and stays reachable throughout — useful when a grandparent needs a step-free route, a child's nap time shifts, or plans simply change on the day
- Restaurants, museums and outings booked around the actual pace of the group — nap windows, earlier dinners, and enough downtime that nobody is dragging a tired child through a fourth stop of the day
- Trusted childcare arranged for a single evening or the full length of a stay, briefed on the specific ages and routines of the children involved
- Priority access to leading European summer school programmes — schools such as Beau Soleil and Le Rosey in Switzerland among them
- Sports coaching — football academy training, tennis masterclasses and equestrian programmes — matched to your child's interests
- A multi-generational villa built for large family groups — Château de Neydens near Geneva, which sleeps up to 19 across three floors
Frequently Asked Questions
What ages do you plan for?
Everything from toddlers to teenagers, and often several age groups on the same trip — tell us the ages of everyone travelling and we build pacing, activities and nap/rest time around the youngest while keeping older children genuinely engaged rather than just tagging along.
Can you arrange childcare during the trip?
Yes — trusted childcare can be arranged for a single evening or for the full length of the stay, confirmed once we know the ages of the children and the dates.
Is a villa always better than a hotel for family trips?
Not always — it depends on the group. A villa suits three generations travelling together or families who want their own kitchen and pool; a family-friendly hotel with connecting rooms can suit a single-family trip just as well. We recommend based on group size, not a fixed rule.
How far in advance should we book a family trip?
For school holiday periods (especially European summer school placements or ski season), 2–3 months ahead gives the most flexibility on villas and summer school availability; other times of year, a few weeks is usually enough.
What happens if grandparents in the group have mobility needs?
Tell us in advance and it shapes the route itself — step-free access at the villa, shorter walking distances between stops, and a car that waits close by rather than a fixed drop-off point — rather than being handled as an exception on the day.
