MYVIPSERVICE (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

What we collect, and why

Enquiry and bespoke travel forms. When you send us an enquiry (contact form, “plan your journey”, or a service request), we collect what you enter — typically your name, email, phone number, destination, dates, party size, and message. We use this only to respond to you and prepare a proposal.

Chauffeur booking. When you book a private chauffeur, we collect your name, email, phone number, pickup/drop-off address, flight number (for airport transfers), and any notes you add. We use this to arrange your vehicle and driver, and to contact you about the booking.

Payment. Payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — Stripe handles it under its own security standards (PCI DSS Level 1). We keep a record of the amount charged and the booking it relates to, not your card details.

Cookies. This site sets one cookie: a login session for our staff to access the booking-management area. It is not set for site visitors browsing or booking, and it is not used for tracking or advertising. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, this page and a cookie banner will be updated before any such cookie is set.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of specialist providers to run the service, each acting under their own security and privacy standards:

• Stripe (payment processing) — receives your name, email, phone, and booking details to process payment and issue a receipt.
• Resend (transactional email) — sends you booking confirmations and driver details; receives your name and email.
• Netlify (hosting, forms, and storage) — hosts the website and stores form submissions and booking records on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, they rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard required by EU law.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and enquiry records for as long as needed to provide the service, respond to you, and meet our accounting and legal obligations (French commercial law generally requires invoicing and payment records to be kept for several years). After that, we delete or anonymise the record.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@myvipservice.com — we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL, www.cnil.fr) or the supervisory authority in your own country.

Security

Connections to this site are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to booking and enquiry records is restricted to authorised staff through a password-protected system. Payment card details are never handled or stored by us directly.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The date above shows when it was last revised.
