Property Overview

  • La Réserve Paris's townhouse facade with its signature red door.

Hotel Features

  • Built in 1854 as a private mansion for the Duc de Morny, Napoleon III's half-brother, and discreetly set back from Avenue Gabriel — herringbone oak parquet and Carrara and Turquin blue marble run throughout, closer to a private house than a hotel lobby.
  • Le Gabriel, the restaurant, holds three Michelin stars, awarded in March 2024 — chef Jérôme Banctel, previously of Le Jules Verne, Les Ambassadeurs at Hôtel de Crillon and Lucas Carton, serves two tasting menus: Virée, built around his native Brittany, and Périple, drawing on Japan and Turkey. La Pagode de Cos, also under Banctel, serves Asian spice-route cooking in a separate dining room.
  • La Réserve Paris's bar, with black lacquer panelling, gilt trim and deep red upholstery.

Le Gaspard, the bar and lounge, serves wine, champagne and cocktails with small plates through most of the day; the mirrored Honesty Bar is stocked in part from proprietor Michel Reybier's own Bordeaux estate, Cos d'Estournel.

  • The spa is built around a 16-metre indoor pool, with a hammam, three treatment rooms and Nescens-Swiss anti-ageing treatments developed with the Clinique de Genolier — plus a fitness area with a personal trainer on request.

Hotel

Room Types

  • 40 rooms and suites in total, 25 of them suites, ranging from 40 to 225 square metres — every room includes a personal butler, a Nespresso machine and a stocked minibar, and two Prestige Junior Suites are wheelchair-adapted.
  • The Imperial Suite, on the fifth floor, has its own private balcony looking over the Eiffel Tower, the Grand Palais and Notre-Dame, decorated in black lacquer, gold filigree and Damascene silk brocade, with its own wine cellar.

Hotel

MYVIPSERVICE Perspective

A long-standing partner hotel, well suited to guests who want a smaller, more private address than the grand Right Bank palaces — the size cuts both ways: it suits a couple or a small family who don't need a large public lobby or several restaurants, less so a large group that wants a bigger stage. Where available, we can arrange upgrades, priority dining at Le Gabriel and longer-stay rates.
