Property Overview

An eleven-room private-residence-style hotel on Rue Jean Goujon, steps from Avenue Montaigne, set inside a 1908 mansion designated a historic monument. The restaurant, Trente-Trois, holds a Michelin star under chef Sébastien Sanjou; the spa occupies the entire lower ground floor.

Hotel Features

The mansion was built in 1908 and is designated a monument historique. Restoration by design firm Atelier Alain Ellouz kept the original stairwell, ceiling mouldings and mirrored doorways intact, setting them against a more contemporary furniture palette — the effect is closer to a well-kept private house than a hotel lobby, with no large public arrival area.

Trente-Trois, the hotel's restaurant, holds a Michelin star awarded in January 2021. Chef Sébastien Sanjou oversees a seasonal, classically-built French menu — Provence asparagus, Roscoff crab and Pyrenees lamb are typical — served in a wood-panelled dining room with a marble fireplace, seating just a handful of tables at each service.

The spa fills the entire lower ground floor: treatments by Officine Universelle Buly 1803, a sauna, a steam room, a jacuzzi and a gym, run more like a private club than a hotel amenity — one of the treatment rooms opens directly onto a small planted courtyard.

Bar Jean Goujon keeps the mansion's original gold-leaf ceiling moulding and is known locally for one of the more serious Japanese whisky selections in Paris, alongside a short list of reworked classic cocktails.

Room Types
- Eleven rooms and suites in total, across four tiers: four Premier Rooms, three Premier Suites, two Grand Premier Suites and two apartments. Furniture throughout is custom-made by Italian maker Promemoria, mattresses are handmade by British bedmaker Vispring, and every bathroom is finished in marble.

The Premier Room is the entry tier — panelled walls in soft greige tones, a reading chair by the window, and the same marble bathroom finish as the larger suites, just on a smaller floor plate.

The Grand Premier Suites and the two apartments add a separate living room, usually with its own marble fireplace, and in some cases a connecting dressing room — the closest thing the property offers to a genuinely multi-room stay.

Bathrooms are marble throughout, with a deep soaking tub rather than a shower-only stall in most rooms — a detail that matters more here than the room category, since it's consistent across every tier.

MYVIPSERVICE Perspective
Maison Villeroy suits a couple or a solo business traveller who wants Paris's Golden Triangle location without the scale of a palace hotel — the whole point of the property is that it doesn't feel like a hotel. That's also its limit: with eleven rooms and no large public lobby or ballroom, it isn't the right fit for a big family group, a large wedding party or anyone who wants extensive shared spaces to gather in. For a quiet stay built around a genuinely excellent restaurant and a serious spa, it's a strong choice; for a big-group celebration, a larger property makes more sense.
