Hotel Features

  • The infinity pool at Château de Neydens, overlooking the wooded 1.5-hectare park and distant hills.

Château de Neydens began life as a Cistercian barn in the 12th century and is today officially classified 5-star, French hospitality's highest distinction. Fully fenced and secured across a wooded 1.5-hectare park, the 1,600 sqm house is privatised entirely for one group — no other guests, no shared spaces — 15 minutes from Lake Geneva and around 30 minutes from central Geneva.

  • Canopied daybeds beside the 20-metre heated pool at Château de Neydens.

The grounds centre on a heated 20-metre pool with adjustable depth, an outdoor jacuzzi, a sauna and a hammam, plus a pergola bar and fire pit for evenings on the terrace and a fully equipped private gym.

  • The château’s private home cinema, voted Best Home Cinema EMEA in 2022.

The château's private screening room sits alongside a games room with billiards, foosball, arcade machines and two racing simulators, plus a fully equipped music recording studio.

  • The château’s private collector-car gallery, with a vintage Aston Martin among the exhibits.

A private collector-car gallery — a Formula 1 car, a James Bond film car and vintage sports cars among the exhibits — sits beside the estate's historic stables, which can be privatised for a bespoke equestrian experience with the HOPE Association. A helipad allows guests to land directly in the grounds.

  • The château’s historic wine cellar, stocked with Bordeaux.

The historic wine cellar is stocked with fine Bordeaux. A private chef — a former executive chef from a starred restaurant — can be booked to design a fully bespoke menu, alongside optional in-home massage, VIP transfers, a chauffeured luxury car from Idyllic Cars, private event planning with Revibe, or a boat outing on Lake Geneva.

  • A dedicated House Manager and concierge team handle the stay from arrival to departure, with housekeeping and house linen included; breakfast, mid-stay cleaning and linen refresh are available on request. Stays run from 2 nights in low season, with a 7-night minimum over Christmas, New Year and school holidays.

Room Types

  • The château sleeps up to 19 across three floors: one bedroom on the ground floor, four on the second floor, and two more on the top floor — plus the dormitory below. The ground-floor bedroom is the most generous, with a 180x200 bed, both a bathtub and a walk-in shower, double vanity, dressing room, separate toilet and its own private terrace; two of the four Queen bedrooms on the second floor (160x200, walk-in shower) also open onto a private terrace, while the two Queen bedrooms on the top floor share the same configuration without a terrace. Eight bathrooms in total mean very little sharing even at full occupancy.
  • For larger multi-generational groups, a dormitory-style room on the top floor sleeps five in single beds, with its own two bathrooms — well suited to children or a group of friends travelling together, without breaking up the rest of the house into smaller family suites.

MYVIPSERVICE Perspective

Château de Neydens suits a group that wants a genuinely private, whole-house stay near Geneva rather than a hotel — the 5-star classification and House Manager service bring hotel-level polish, but every guest in the group is family or friends, not a stranger down the hall. It's built for groups who want to actually use the amenities together: the cinema, the pool, the games room, the car collection, not just a bigger living room. For a couple or a small group of two to four who don't need seven bedrooms, a smaller villa nearby will suit better and cost less; for a family reunion, a milestone celebration or a multi-family ski or lake trip that wants everyone under one roof, this is one of the largest and most complete private houses we source near Geneva.
