Hotel Features

The chalets spread across the hillside among the pines like a village of their own — Himalayan and Tibetan motifs run through the interiors throughout. A 2023 renovation by Capezzone Architecture gave the rooms and suites a more assertive contemporary tone: dark velvet, finely crafted wood and layered fabrics that keep an alpine warmth indoors.

- Direct ski-in/ski-out access to Les 3 Vallées, the largest connected ski area in the world. The hotel runs its own tailor-made ski-fitting service, and a covered passageway links the main building straight to the chalets and Suite-Chalets, so no boots ever touch snow between them.

The dining is the other headline: Michelin has awarded the hotel three keys, and two of its restaurants each carry two Michelin stars — L'Altiplano (Peruvian, chef Jean-Rémi Caillon) and Le Sarkara (a vegetal, dessert-led restaurant from chef Sébastien Vauxion). Le Bottleneck covers cheese fondues and charcoal grilling, Le 8611 is the atmospheric bar, and Le Winston Klub is a cigar lounge.

L'Altiplano's menu leans on traditional Peruvian raw preparations — ceviche and tiradito-style seafood, finely plated, alongside charcoal-grilled dishes built on local seasonal produce. That precision is part of what earned the restaurant its Michelin stars.

The Goji Spa spans over 500 square metres, with a pool, sauna, hammam, hot and cold plunge baths, jacuzzi, treatment rooms, a tea room, a fitness centre and a hair salon.

Room Types

26 rooms span four categories: Classic (33-48㎡), Deluxe (42-44㎡), Prestige (50-62㎡, the largest standard category) and Family Prestige (53-60㎡, with two children's bunk beds alongside the king). There are also three duplex Suites — Broad Peak, K1 and K2 (82-105㎡) — finished with bronze detailing and Himalayan motifs, some with a separate children's bedroom.

The six Suite-Chalets are the hotel's most distinctive room category — roughly 250-320 square metres across three or four levels, each with three bedrooms in king-size beds, decorated in a Tibetan spirit, with a dedicated butler for breakfast and afternoon tea. Added in December 2023.

The four standalone chalets — Panmah, Abruzzes, Baltoro and Muztagh — are the top tier: 480-600 square metres, 5-7 bedrooms sleeping 10-14 guests, each with its own pool with a waterfall feature, a sauna or steam room, a home cinema and a ski room, strung along the Cospillot piste. The natural choice for a large family or multi-family group wanting fully independent space.

MYVIPSERVICE Perspective
Le K2 Palace suits a large or multi-generational family wanting palace-scale amenities — two two-Michelin-starred restaurants, a substantial spa, a cigar lounge, and up to four standalone chalets with private pools, a scale few properties in the resort can match. For a quieter, more intimate stay, a boutique ski property like Aman Le Mélézin is worth considering instead — but for a bigger party wanting independent space under one roof with hotel-level service on call, K2 Palace's chalets work better than a standard room ever could.
