Why choose the private terminal over fast-tracked customs

Fast-tracked customs still moves you through a public terminal, on a public timeline. Extime Exclusive Paris removes the public terminal from the journey entirely: your own arrival or departure happens in a private building beside the tarmac, on your own schedule, with one dedicated concierge handling check-in, security, customs, tax refund and baggage as a single continuous process rather than a series of queues. It’s the right choice when you’re travelling with a larger party, heavier luggage, want a higher standard of security and discretion, or simply don’t want an airport day to feel like an airport day.

Arrival

Once the aircraft is on stand, you’re met at the gate and driven straight from the runway to the terminal. Security and customs are handled alongside you by a dedicated concierge, and your luggage is delivered directly to the terminal — from there you’re straight onto the motorway, no detour through a public arrivals hall.

Departure

At the terminal, a concierge handles check-in and duty-free formalities one on one, with security and customs on their own dedicated channel. From there you can eat, rest or arrange a spa treatment in the lounge — when you’re ready, the car takes you straight onto the runway to the aircraft.

Connection

Met at the arrival gate, you’re driven straight from the runway to the terminal to rest, eat, shop or book a treatment — and when it’s time for the next leg, the same car takes you straight back onto the runway, with no time spent in a public transit area.

Inside Extime Exclusive Paris

The terminal’s own architecture is part of the experience — Jacques Garcia’s design runs from an arched, gold-leaf check-in hall to private lounges finished in crimson velvet, with a full-height wall of engraved glass mapping Paris itself behind the seating. A separate salon in the customs zone, connected to a French-garden courtyard, is where champagne is served while formalities are handled out of sight — it comes with its own private bathroom, alongside spa rooms with a bathtub and shower for anyone who wants to arrive, or board, properly rested.

A dedicated concierge coordinates the whole visit, meals are prepared by a chef on site, and the wine cellar is chosen by a sommelier. Given enough notice, a fashion or jewellery house can send an advisor to the terminal for a private shopping session in its own boutique space, or a spa treatment can be arranged.
